Motion ideas
Alternative motion directions for all three logo ideas. Each card shows the logo large and at header size. Shapes and colours are unchanged; only the icon moves. The first card in each idea, marked “Current pick”, is the version currently chosen; the rest are alternatives.
Idea 1
Spark hopCurrent pick
The spark jumps in arcs from dark circle to dark circle, and each circle squashes slightly as it lands. It then fades out and reappears at the start. Livelier than the original glide.
Ripple
Each circle presses in briefly, one after another up the staircase, and the spark turns a quarter with the first. Calm and rhythmic.
Fill meter
The light circles fill with the dark blue one by one, like a level rising, then drain back together. Reads as “measuring”.
Build
The circles grow in up the staircase, then the spark pops in last. Everything shrinks away again. Best as a loader or intro; it shows an empty logo for a moment each loop.
Twinkle
The spark does a quick quarter-turn with a small pulse, and the other two dark circles echo it. The quietest option, and safe as a permanent logo.
Idea 2
Row swapCurrent pick
The two rows of squares swap places. The top two spin and turn into sparks on the way down, then spin back into squares on the way up.
Wave
The squares lift 2px in turn from left to right, like a wave passing through. The quietest option.
Flip
The squares flip over one after another to show a dark blue back, then flip back to light blue.
Spark relay
One square at a time spins into the spark and back, passed along from left to right. Same morph as the original idea, one square at a time.
Drop in
The squares drop in from above, bottom row first, then float up and away. Best as a loader or intro; it shows an empty logo for a moment each loop.
Centre ripple
A press starts in the middle square and spreads out to the edges.
Idea 3
ChargeCurrent pick
The spark dips toward the gap between the pillars, the pillars squash slightly, then the spark springs back up with a quarter-turn.
Pulse spin
The spark rests, then does a quick quarter-spin with a small shrink and overshoot. Reads as “thinking”.
Equalizer
The spark leans to one side and that pillar sinks under it, then the other way, like weight on a scale. Closest to “measure”.
Emit
The spark rises out of the gap with a spin, holds, then sinks back in. The spark is missing for a moment each loop.
Build
The pillars grow up one after the other, then the spark pops in, then everything retracts. Best as a loader or intro; it shows an empty icon for a moment each loop.
Float
The spark bobs gently and turns a quarter each cycle. The calmest option, though the motion is tiny at header size.
